Honest Amish Beard Oil Review

Here's a fact:
A search for beard oil in Amazon for example, will give you 10's of different beard oil options.
If you want to find the best beard oil for your skin and facial hair, then you have come to the right place!
Today, I'll review one of the most popular beard oils - Honest Amish Beard Oil.
Honest Amish started as a small group selling their products at local festivals, farmer’s markets, and flea markets. With success, they expanded online but kept their core beliefs and practices.
Located in a small Western Pennsylvania town, Honest Amish handcrafts all their products with 100% natural, organic, and sustainable ingredients. They also refuse to use plastic in any of their packaging, man-made chemicals or fragrances.
The Honest Amish Beard Oil is a blend of seven oils to help keep your beard soft, moisturized, and healthy.
Honest Amish calls this oil “better than an oil”, and I think that by the end of this review you might agree.

Overview of Honest Amish Beard Oil
Before I get into the ingredients and benefits of this beard oil, here is what you can expect if you decide to buy it.
Honest Amish makes all their products in their shop in Western Pennsylvania. They create everything by hand and carefully source all their ingredients to meet their strict standards. Their beard oil is 100% natural, organic, and made with sustainable ingredients.
With the package you get an amber glass bottle with a glass stopper. The amber protects the oil from light, and the stopper helps measure out the precise amount of oil for each use. That’s all you need. I don't like the fact that the bottle comes unsealed (at least mine did).
Each bottle is two ounces. Other beard oils on the market are usually 1 or 2 ounces, so Honest Amish are on the high end. On top of that, you only need a little oil for each use, so this amount should last you a while.
With regular use, this bottle could easily last 1 to 3 months. It depends on how long your beard is, the condition of your beard, and how often you use the oil. If you properly store the oil in a cool, dry spot, this oil shouldn’t go bad and can last years.

The Ingredients
By carefully combining different oils, Honest Amish was able to make a beard oil that helps with dry skin, beard druff, itchiness, irritation, and makes your beard look fuller and shinier.
The classic oil has avocado oil, virgin pumpkin seed oil, sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, golden jojoba oil, virgin argan oil, and kukui oil. Here’s how each of those oils can help your skin and beard.
Avocado Oil
Eating avocados is a wonderful way to improve the health of your hair, but Avocado oil goes a step further. The healthy fat in this oil can help smooth and soften your beard hair as well as keep it plump and thick. Rubbing the oil into your skin can also promote blood circulation and stimulate growth.
Pumpkin Seed Oil
There have been studies that show pumpkin seed oil could help hair growth. If you have a thinner beard or patchiness, this oil could make your beard fuller and thicker.
Sweet Almond Oil
Almond oil has a high amount of biotin and magnesium, both nutrients needed for hair growth. This oil can also help with inflammation and beard druff, and it has an appealing sweet scent.
Apricot Kernel Oil
Apricot kernel oil has many of the same properties as sweet almond oil and can help smooth your beard hair, soothe irritated skin, and soften facial hair and skin.
Golden Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil is a liquid wax ester that is non-comedogenic and won’t clog your pores. It can help condition facial hair and bring moisture to both the skin and hair.
Virgin Argan Oil
Argan oil is another conditioning oil that will help smooth and soothe your facial hair and skin. It is also light and won’t leave a greasy residue.
Kukui Oil
You don’t often see kukui oil in beard products, but this oil is a natural moisturizer. It has been helpful for people with eczema, psoriasis, dandruff, and hair loss. If you suffer from any of these issues with your beard, kukui oil could help.
Using Honest Amish Beard Oil
The first thing I loved about the Honest Amish Beard Oil was the size of the bottle. Most companies sell beard oil in one-ounce jars for the same price as this two-ounce bottle. This is a good deal and will last you a long time as you use it.
The included dropper makes it very easy to apply the oil to your beard. The oil doesn't leave a greasy feeling after applying, and it absorbs very quickly into your beard, which is something I like a lot.
Even your palms won't get too greasy (of course assuming you're applying the correct amount). You won't be able to use your phone straight away, but a quick wipe with a towel is enough to get rid of any residues.
The oil does have a slight nutty scent to it, mostly from the sweet almond oil, but I didn’t find it too overpowering. Although, if you use a lot it might be overwhelming. Usually it will last for a couple of hours. I like it that after applying the beard oil, every now I'm getting a mild wave of scent from no where.
If your beard is on the shorter side, you'll be able to get away with two to three drops. If you have a thicker or longer beard, you might need to double that amount.
As expected from beard oils, you can’t use this oil for styling because there's no hold but if you use it in combination with a beard balm, the results should be fantastic.

After using this beard oil for a week or so, I noticed my usually dry skin was softer and my beard shinier. I didn’t see any improved thickness or new hair growth, but that could happen with extended use.
Who Should Use Honest Amish Beard Oil?
This beard oil can work for just about any beard. It is also a good option for those that want to thicken their beard and create the appearance of a fuller beard.
If you have very sensitive skin, you might want to use this oil with caution. The sweet almond oil can be a problem if you have a nut allergy and it might cause irritation.
