Adidas Releases Beer-Proof Shoes for Oktoberfest
Beer lovers this is for you!
Adidas released beer proof sneakers for the upcoming Oktoberfest.
Obviously a lot of beer is spilled during Oktoberfest, the famous beer festival in Munich. Adidas has decided to reconnect with its German roots and release shoes that are in the spirit of the festival.
According to the company its dedicated engineers have created a special coating -- called DPBR -- that will protect the shoe-leather from beer and, well, puke.
The shoes have light brown stripes that resembles the color of light wheat beer. In the rear you'll find flowers and even a Pretzel, yea! On the sides there's the writing 'Prost' which is the German word for cheers.
The sneakers are made in Germany, so you should expect high quality. The shoes are sold by '43einhalb' for a limited amount of time, so hurry up if you want them. (here's a link - I have no affiliation with them).
By the way - This year Oktoberfest is on September 16.
